Trimming the fat blog candy give-away!!!!!

Okay girls, one little known fact about me is that I HATE WASTE! It makes me crazy! I can't stand to have stuff in my craft room that I am not using. I have been buying alot of designer paper lately and have been having a ball with it, but I never use all of what I buy. So, I have been cutting my designer paper 12x12 papers into little 6x6 pieces because then I have less scraps, I think. Anyway, all of these papers are trendy and hot right now and I don't want them to rot here in my stamp room when one of you could be getting some good use out it.

I have everything here, basic grey, magnolia, American crafts, memory box, you name it and I have it right now. So, I am going to keep half of them and give half of them to one of you who leaves a comment on my blog. You can comment on anything you want: what you are going to do this summer or what your favorite stamping toy is. Doesn't matter to me. I will use my handy dandy random number selector program again and pick one of you out. Patti H. who won my last blog candy give away was just thrilled with her little package that I sent her. I was happy about that. All papers are current and in stores right now.

I have also been buying stamps from Inky Antics, stampendous, stampabilities lately and I will throw in some stamped paper with some of these images. I think that is a great way to try something out with no investment on your part. Good luck to you all. Check back at the end of the week and I will post the winner's name!

Woo hoo - first comment! What a great idea to cut the 12x12 papers into 6x6. That's perfect for cardmaking! I am a paper hoarder, so this might be a great way to make me actually use the stuff. :)

Awesome idea to make sure those papers get used! I have really been enjoying using patterned papers in my projects lately and the comments show it!

Thanks for the chance to win!

Hello! What a generous person you are! I have been scrapbooking and making a ton of stamped cards lately and I don't have very much paper. For some reason I never think that I need paper until I sit down to do a project and then realize that I have to work with what I've got. I just started a 6x6 album today about me. I've never done a 6x6, nor have I done anything about me before. Humm, I wonder if I'll have enough photos of myself? LOL!
Thanks!!

Thank you for offering such wonderful candy. I wish I was more like you and could clean out when I should. I have a tough time getting rid of something I *think* I might use in the future. :) I teach card making at the LSS, but when I make something non-class, I like to dig into the goodies I've been hanging onto for just that special occasion. I'm getting better. :)

What a great idea! I hate a bunch of odd shaped paper scraps but I love the patterns and don't have the heart to get rid of them.

Now I will either cut them into nice squares or punch shapes out of them to make them more appealing to use.

Right now my favorite toy is the Cuttlebug. I also like my Cricuit and use that for so much. I have been doing so much card-making that it is time to get back to scrapbooking. I love the blogs and all the wonderful ideas!

Thanks for your great idea!!

I'm just gonna mention that we have a scrappy yard sale going on next weekend at my LSS (www.keepsaketrends.com) and I have for the first time put together a bunch of kits to sell using random dp/pp that I'm just not gonna get a chance to use. I'm excited about it! Thanks for the blog candy offer!

I wanted to let you know I love your card from 5-26. I don't know what it is called but I just love it.
I am obsessed with DP paper lately!!! It is my latest favorite thing so I hope I am the lucky winner.

I've been thinking of doing the same thing....cutting my 12x12 into 6x6. But I am afraid I may need a strip or something. I was behind a girl at the LSS the other day who bought almost $200 in mostly PAPER! WOW! She had some very cool papers though. I'd love to have access to her stamp room. And I would also love to have your 6x6 blog paper candy! LOL
