Poetic Artistry Challenge

As I don't normally partake in any Splitcoast Stampers challenges on Mondays I decided to see if I could find another challenge going on in the blogging world. Sure enough, Julie at Poetic Artistry has a sketch challenge going on at her blog today. She will reward the winner with a card from her (which would be awesome because she is awesome) and possible a treat!

This is the card I came up with for her sketch challenge. It is sort of busy compared to what I normally do, but I do like how it turned out and so did my card critic, Matt (DH). I am really getting into this True Friend set from Stampin' up! It is from the holiday mini catalog and is pretty yummy! We are relaxing at home today. I must say that we are about in heaven not having to go to work today!

Supplies:
Stamps: True friend, Faux Ribbon by Papertrey Ink
Paper: really rust, American Crafts Play Scooter, Play Ping-Pong
Ink: stampin' up markers: night of navy, really rust, summer sun
Accessories: 1 1/4 and 1 3/8 stampin' up punches, earth elements brads ribbon from
Michael's

Your card is so beautiful! I think you did an awesome job!
Geese...I lost you when our computer crashed or something. I couldn't remember the name, so I went to Splitcoast and looked for your picture. When I couldn't find that, I was sure I would recongise your name and sure enough I found you....Yeah! I won't do that again.
