Blogging Break

I have been thinking alot lately about whether I would like to continue blogging or not. At times I consider it one more thing to cross off the list for the day and stamping has always been just the opposite for me. Stamping has been something that I do when want to forget about the list. I have really enjoyed having an easy way to stay in touch with my family and to share my cards
with everyone.

I can't decide if I want to completely stop blogging or if I want to keep it going but just update less frequently. I have decided that I will take a blogging break for the next month or so and see if I actually miss blogging. So, I just wanted to let everyone know why they won't see any new creations for a while. I am going to focus my energy on making my holiday cards and see if I can get some cards done for Christmas sets I like to give as gifts to my friends and family. I will still be checking out everyone else's stamping blogs I am sure.

Take care everyone and I will talk to you soon!!!!

Melissa,
You go girl. I have had to step back on my blogging as well. I think I was doing it to hear comments. I had climbed pretty high on the top 50 sites. I started to slip down when I wasn't puting stuff on everyday. At first I was discouraged and then I realized that it had lost it's fun for me. I took the top 50 off my blog, but I am still on a blogging break. I have had a rough summer and lots going on. We can't do it all and be it all! Enjoy your break!

Melissa, I will miss you and your creations if you stop blogging all together!! But at the same time I understand where you are coming from. Hopefully you will be back every once in a while to make a post. Enjoy your time off and take care.

I totally understand where you are coming from. The holidays are stressful enough and why add to that? You have a good time and if you post again, my email will let me know, so I can read your blog.
I know your cards are going to be gorgeous!

I hope you decide to update when it is convenient for you but I completely understand if you choose to stop altogether.

Enjoy your break!

I understand how you feel. I've wondered why a person has to update so frequently because so many people use Google Reader and, gosh, you go to the reader and there's lots of stuff from all the blogs to look at. If a person subscribes by email they probably subscribe to several blogs so I wonder why it matters if one little old blog isn't updated as frequently as some. There can be a lot of pressure to satisfy your readers. If only a person could just blog for fun, but if you lose all your readers, then who are you talking to? You should do what feels right to you and just enjoy yourself. Life is too precious to worry overmuch about things like this!
